I ordered the coconut noodle soup and it was absolutely delicious! The papaya salad is to die for, so fresh and flavorful. Definitely don’t miss out on the pineapple juice, it’s the perfect refreshing drink to go with the meal! It’s so cozy in here too, and the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Burmese food is so tasty, I’ll definitely be coming back! 10/10 will come back again!

- the only restaurant in the triangle to cater burmese food - the tealeaf salad is very good - though comes in a very small quantity. - we tried the dumplings and the noodles and the flavors were right. - veg fried rice came with tofu, veggies and chickpeas and egg. - attentive service .

This place was worth the drive from Winston-Salem for authentic Burmese cuisine! My partner and I shared the samosa salad, nann g thoke, kyay oh pork noodle soup, chicken curry with roti and pal parata as well. And we got some Burmese desserts to go, too! Everything was well spiced and complex, and cooked perfectly. The service was fast and inviting, you can tell they take great pride in what they make and the opportunity to share Burmese cuisine in Chapel Hill. If you have never tried Burmese food before--do yourself a favor and change that.

10/10 taste. Their dishes are of reasonable price(any items on the menu were below $20 or less) with great amount of food so it is worth every penny we spent. Both the server, the owners, and the chefs were welcoming and it truly is a small world to stumble upon our fellow Burmese people. The dishes were authentic and they always try to keep the dishes as original as possible to keep the cultures of the dishes. It is a nice place to meet up for hangouts and especially for romantic dates or just a quiet place to have a chat with! They also have 3 TVs mounted onto the walls so game nights are going to be quite a hit!

Nice new Burmese place, good food. They have made it enjoyable atmosphere: each table has fresh orchids, and a couple large screen TV over kitchen entrance running interesting closeup footage of chefs making Burmese dishes. I got what they called "chicken salad", it was similar to Thai Larb Gai but with a bit of sriracha in the sauce. Good selection of dishes, vegetarian dishes. I asked about no carb dishes and chef listed me several good options. Hours are good, they don't close after lunch which helped me.

As a UNC alumni of Chin background who had always wished to see Burmese cuisine more accessible for the UNC community to try, I was so excited when I found out about this restaurant, so I came with high expectations. The Pad Gra Pao was an amazing portion size for the price! I was so happy to see the beef pad gra pao made from ground beef like how I like it (which thai restaurants here don’t do). I do think it was a bit sweeter than the typical Pad Gra Pao I’ve had though, and didn’t taste the pungent savory flavor that I usually love from Pad Gra Pao even when ordering thai hot. This could be because of the day I went though! Coconut noodle / Khao Swe was great and compared to the high prices for the dish in surrounding Thai restaurants, it is a decent portion! The Pad Thai during this visit had a different and thinner type of noodle used than usual medium-size noodle in Pad thais, and wasn’t as saucy as usual either. Other google reviews do seem to have it looking more saucy and the usual noodle size though so it could’ve just been this visit! The flavor itself was still good though. Paratha appetizer (shown in photo, one piece already eaten by us) was sooo good and tasted very authentic, highly recommend for those new to burmese cuisine. Note that since this was my only visit some of the flavors could also be from the specific day I went. There’s also a Student discount with your ID card! Hopefully the next visit will be even better! The staff were super friendly and I wish the best to the restaurant in their business
